Local Roots. Expanding Capabilities.

All American Glass has served Bakersfield and Kern County since 2004. Rob and Tonya Ryan purchased the company in 2022, continuing an established residential and commercial glass business while building on its existing capabilities and expanding the services available to local customers.

All American Glass remains locally owned and operated in Bakersfield. We employ local people, work with local businesses and contractors, and serve homeowners, businesses, facility managers, contractors and public agencies throughout Kern County.

Three Generations in the Glass Business

For owner Rob Ryan, the glass business goes back much further than 2022. Rob began working full time as a glazier in July 1994, just days after graduating from high school. His father and grandfather were also glaziers, and both owned glass businesses of their own.

 

Over more than three decades in the trade, Rob's experience progressed from hands-on field glazing into estimating, project management, project coordination and shop drawings. That combination of field and project experience now helps guide how All American Glass approaches everything from everyday glass replacement to complex commercial openings.

 

Building on an Established Glass & Door Company

When Rob and Tonya purchased All American Glass, the company already provided residential and commercial glazing, storefront, commercial door and hardware services. Those capabilities remain an important part of the business today.

Since taking ownership, Rob has continued looking for services that Bakersfield and Kern County customers need but often have difficulty obtaining from a single local contractor.That led All American Glass to expand into automatic pedestrian door systems, including sliding and folding doors, including sliding and folding doors, ADA swing door operators, activation devices and related components.

At the same time, the company expanded into roll-down security shutters and screens for commercial and residential applications. These additional capabilities, supported by All American Glass's C-17 and D-28 contractor classifications, allow the company to serve a broader range of openings and applications while keeping the work local.

 

More Than "Just Another Glass Company"

All American Glass is a glass company at its core, but our capabilities extend well beyond glass alone.

A commercial entrance can involve glass, aluminum framing, doors, hardware, automatic operators, activation devices and sensors. Instead of treating each component as somebody else's problem, All American Glass has developed the capabilities to work across more of the complete opening.

Our work is self-performed by our own local installers. That means fewer contractors for our customers to coordinate, greater continuity from the initial evaluation through installation or repair, and local people performing the work.

Whether the project involves a broken window at a home, a commercial storefront, entrance doors and hardware, an automatic pedestrian door or a roll-down security shutter system, our goal is straightforward: understand the opening, provide the appropriate solution and complete the work professionally.

All American Glass operates under California Contractors License #1080098, with C-17 Glazing and D-28 Doors, Gates and Activating Devices classifications.

All American Glass is also registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations for public works projects under DIR Public Works Contractor Registration #1000047254.

 

Serving Bakersfield & Kern County

All American Glass serves residential and commercial customers throughout Bakersfield and Kern County, including Shafter, Wasco, Delano, Taft, Tehachapi, Buttonwillow and Lake Isabella.

We also travel beyond Kern County for projects throughout surrounding areas. Roll-down security shutter and screen installation is available across an expanded service area that includes portions of the Central Valley, High Desert and Central Coast.
